SELF-PROMOTION: I wrote a short, unhappy history of the Fairness Doctrine for the April 23 American Conservative. As of today, the piece is also
online.

Meanwhile, keep an eye open for the June Reason. It features our scouting reports on the leading presidential candidates, as compiled by Dave Weigel, Nick Gillespie, and myself (but mostly Dave). I also contributed a short article about the latest threat to Internet radio, and the issue includes a briefer, better version of my Web column about Hayek, Disney, and gay marriage.
